November was...

The launch of Butter Lane - the better cupcake (butterlane.com). What was my grand contribution in the creation of this baking empire as head Butter Lane cheerleader? I learned how to program a cash register. Knew that MBA would come in handy sometime. Oh and I spent over an hour at Kinko's making their first laminate sign "yes we're open" and helped put together the office desk and despaired that the menu was too complicated and advocated for the establishment of stations and responsibilities for the staff during shop hours. And typed up some lists.

Promotion redux (of course I wanted it but I can't say I was entirely prepared. is this actually happening?!) Featuring such old-time favorites as:
*Here comes the envy
*Will they ever stop copying my old boss on emails
*How do I get the vote of the board
*My assistant is awesome
And the rip-roaring finale
*What will my salary be? (Will I ever get equity?) Why do I always miss the booms and catch the busts?

Elvis comes to visit, bringing a whole new level of meaning to the term "doghouse." Never have I met a pup with just two switches, On (all the way) and Off (the most peaceful angelic thing you've ever seen).

And all of that was just the last week in November...
